CRC Apr 2024 Updates

I can’t believe that summer is coming! (Finally!)

Hope you are enjoying the sunny days and thinking of your outdoor activities for the next few months!

one of my favorite movies “The Shawshank Redemption”,

Andy Dufresne said: “Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, so no good things dies”

Without hope, we cannot find the purpose of our lives.

When God is with us, we have hope.

On April 27,  CRC had around 60 participants to join! Wow! We held our very first financial literacy workshop for parents. Thanks to Meizi and Tony, both are the employees and also volunteers from Bank of America to educate parents the fundamental knowledge about banking and finance. The main focus was on budgeting, how to manage credit, and how to avoid identity fraud. One parent even asked her daughter to join and learn!

At the second session, Meizi, the employee who works at the operation department, shared the program her department is running to hire the employees with disabilities. Those employees were hired with full benefits from Bank of America . The bank hires around 200 employees with disabilities in Delaware and 16 now in MA. The sharing impressed the parents as they never expected kids with disabilities would be hired by such a large corporation! Their eyes were blinking with hope.

On May11, we had an appreciation lunch with the leaders and teachers. Without you all, CRC could not have worked so well. Thank you so much for your passion, dedication, and love to CRC and the families. It is my honor to work with you all under God's love and strength! This is what exactly this quote means to me:

'And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ' - Romans 8:28
